We had the final of the Ivan Drabble cup last Sunday with Mick Risely and Radoslaw Moszczynski battling to get their name on the famous Ivan Drabble trophy, and of course the £300 prize money After an extremely close match Michael Riseley clinched the win in a decider 4-3. Thank you both for giving us such a great final and commiserations to Radek . It was a shame one man had to lose as great sportsmanship was shown through out. Mick last won back in 2006 and was a worthy winner 18 years later For those who did not know Mr Ivan Drabble he was a gentleman and a true genuine friend to Phil for many years and he loved Pockets Snooker Sports Club daily. We Miss him and think of him lots. So thank you everyone who competes in his memory. The Harry Lane memorial will begin after the world. So get entering 😁

Such a great finals night at Pockets Snooker Club Saturday. Thank you to every one that has supported this Perfect event in memory of Harry. Big thank you to Beverly and Rick who is Harry's daughter and son in law for coming to present the trophies to the players. This whole competition started with 32 players and every match was played in great spirit and very close games .Our 2 very deserved finalist were Andy Wagstaff and Caisley Knowles. Caisley played a fantastic final and was a very deserved winner on the night with a 4-0 win. But the score line does not take away how very close every game was and how well Andy played all through this competition. So well done to both players. Thank you to Matt Glasby our referee on the night. Well done to our losing semi finalists Matt Glasby and Luke Spark both receiving £70 each Runner up received £160 Winner received £300 Cancer Charity's will receive £160 Big Big thank you to all the Family and friends of players and the members that came Saturday to support this event which ended with a great game of killer Pool Pockets style .
